I’ve been wanting to get things organized lately. The inventory at Bristol County Dyeworks is a bit haphazard lately. Our lovely hand dyed skeins of sock yarn, lace weight yarn, and worsted weight yarn are kind of semi-neatly piled in a set of pretty baskets. Pretty, but not very functional.
As I was pondering this need for better organization and order, I wondered if there was possibly some astrological force at work. You know, when traffic is crazy and people are cutting you off left and right, we all say, “must be a full moon”. Does the same theory hold true when your house/office is feeling a bit out of control and you crave order and tidiness?
Apparently, it is Capricorns who crave order. From www.ehow.com, I learned that, “Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac. It is a feminine sign ruled by Saturn. Capricorns are strong-willed, loyal and logical people. They are analytical and methodical. Capricorns are usually quite organized. Their logical and methodical nature has them analyzing every detail and their logic often causes them to overlook the emotional side of their nature. Capricorns can be industrious and fiercely loyal although this may also lead them to be a bit possessive.”
Interesting. Then I googled “today’s horoscope”. And this is what I discovered at www.horoscope.com. It appears it is all about the Capricorns today.
“Today brings a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn. We may be especially alert now to our long term goals and ambitions. If things seem to be shifting direction or our plans appear to be changing, flexibility and an ability to go with the flow can help us stay grounded.”
I don’t know if this means I really do need to be better organized, but I’m thinking that a trip to Walmart to pick up some stacking, see-through plastic storage bins for our yarn might be in order.
