Welcome to Bristol County Dyeworks’ blog.
Bristol County Dyeworks is a collaboration between two good friends, Cheryl and Lisa. We’ve been knitting together for years and recently discovered the thrill and adventure of creating our own hand-dyed yarns. At the end of May 2009 we opened our very own Etsy shop, bcdyeworks. The shop is updated as often as we can make time to dye. If the sun is shining, we are probably up to our elbows in dyestock, synthrapol, and merino wool.
We started this blog to give you a little peek into the dye studio and share some of the behind the scenes activities that are involved in running an online shop. Check the blog often for announcements about new colorways, new yarn weights and special promotions for blog readers only.
